info

Refer to the LED status reference to check if the Charge Controller is ready

  1. Plug the appropriate USB cable into the Charge Controller's CONFIG port and connect it to your computer
  2. With your web browser, navigate to http://192.168.123.123 to open the Charge Controller's Configuration Interface

2.1. Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the Charge Controller is ready. The Status LED blinks green if that's the case
  • Try a different USB port on your computer

3. Connecting your computer through LAN

When connecting the Charge Controller with your computer through LAN, the IP address is no longer 192.168.123.123. How you figure out the IP address depends on whether you're working with or without DHCP.

3.1. DHCP

This case applies if the Charge Controller receives an IP address from a DHCP server.

The default name of the Charge Controller is cp. That's how it shows up on your router's configuration interface.

3.2. Static

In the case of a static IP configuration, use the configured static IP address.

3.2.1. Setting a static IP address on Windows 10/11

Follow the official guide by Microsoft for this.

3.3. Fallback method

To enable a configuration if both described ways aren't suitable, a permanent, static, second IP address is available on the Ethernet interface of the Charge Controller.

To access the Charge Controller via this address, you have to set your PC's IP address to the same address space and subnet mask.

Example configuration for your PC
Address192.168.124.100
Subnet mask255.255.255.0
