Configuring Master-Slave
1. Requirements
Make sure that
- Both Charge Controllers have the same controller firmware version. (Check the number at the top right of the Configuration Interface)
- Both Charge Controllers have the Configuration Interface set as the default. See here.
2. Steps
2.1. Configuring the Master Charge Controller
- Connect the Charge Controller that should be the Master to a computer with a micro USB cable through the CONFIG USB port.
- Open the Configuration Interface and navigate to the Manufacturer section (http://192.168.123.123/legacy/manufacturer/manufacturer)
- Near the bottom of the page, for the
Master/Slave Mode
field, chooseMaster
- At the bottom of the Legacy Configuration Interface, click to apply the changes
2.2. Configuring the Slave Charge Controller
- Connect the Charge Controller that should be the Slave to a computer with a micro USB cable through the CONFIG USB port.
- Open the Configuration Interface and navigate to the Manufacturer section (http://192.168.123.123/legacy/manufacturer/manufacturer)
- Near the bottom of the page, for the
Master/Slave Mode
field, chooseSlave
- At the bottom of the Legacy Configuration Interface, click to apply the changes
2.3. Connecting the Master and Slave
Run a micro USB from the Master's CONFIG USB port to the Slave's Host USB port
3. Accessing the Master and Slave Controllers
Connect a computer with the Slave Charge Controller and access the Master or Slave like so:
